I’ve been growing up with the hard rock of the 70’s and 80’s. My first guitar idol was Ace Frehley who inspired me to play guitar. When I finally held my first Van Halen LP in my hands it was pretty clear to me that I immediately had to have a guitar. The first guitar I could afford was a Marathon Explorer which I learned and practiced with the next years. I then broadened my musical horizon by studying numerous guitar players. I started to take lessons in classical and e-guitar and shortly after set up my first bands and projects. My constant tutor then was Holger Scheffel, who I owe quite a lot in this regard. My second teacher pitched the Blues to me and also showed me how to improvise. After this time I’ve played in a few bands – cover music as well as self-made songs. 

Ich bin mit dem Hardrock der 70er und 80er Jahre aufgewachsen.
Mein erstes Gitarrenidol war Ace Frehley. Er hat mich dazu inspiriert Gitarre zu spielen. Als ich dann meine erste Schallplatte von Van Halen in der Hand hatte, war für mich klar, dass sofort eine Gitarre her musste. Die erste Gitarre, die ich mir leisten konnte, war eine
Marathon Explorer, auf der ich die nächsten Jahre übte. Ich erweiterte meinen musikalischen Horizont, indem ich mich mit einer Vielzahl von Gitarristen beschäftigte. Ich suchte mir einen Gitarrenlehrer, bei dem ich Unterricht in E-Gitarre und klassischer
Gitarre bekam. Zu der Zeit formierten sich auch meine ersten Bands und Projekte. Mein ständiger musikalischer Begleiter in der Zeit war Holger Scheffel, dem ich sehr viel in musikalischer Hinsicht zu verdanken habe. Der zweite Lehrer, der mich unterrichtete, brachte mir den Blues nahe und lehrte mich das Improvisieren. Nach dieser Zeit spielte ich in mehreren Bands von Cover bis Eigenproduktionen.
